Any day is an ideal day to celebrate tasty food, and that is a motto we live by at our Clarendon restaurant and bar. We don’t often share our delicious culinary insights and recipes, but in honor of National Bean Day we decided to make an exception.
Don Tito’s chef, Mike Cordero, joined the team at WJLA’s ‘Let’s Talk Live’ in studio to talk about the international significance of beans in international cuisine and of course, do a little bit of cooking! Cordero concocted a black bean stew and empanadas for the segment, showing the hosts (and viewers) how to make the recipe at home.
